Properties:Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiphlogistic, antipruritic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, astringent, diaphoretic, carminative, cephalic, cordial, emmenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge, hepatic, nervine, stomachic, sudorific, vasoconstrictor, vermifuge, mental stimulant.
Indicated for: Refreshing tonic, cooling, stimulant (especially for the heart, brain, and pancreas), nervous tonic, it is an adaptogenic oil.
Digestive: Helps stimulate and restore Liver and pancreatic function, flatulence, colic, diarrhea, indigestion, vomiting, dyspepsia, nausea, stomach spasms. (1 drop diluted in a teaspoon of honey or black cumin base oil*).).
Uses: 5 drops in Peppermint Hydrosol to tone and cleanse the skin of impurities.
Massage/skin:For muscle pain, neuralgia, circulation stimulant, as an antiseptic for wounds, skin rashes, purulent eczema, decongests the skin in steam baths, dermatitis and acne.
Inhaled: To lower fever, decongest nasal passages, sinusitis, relieve asthma, bronchitis and spasmodic coughs, especially when mixed with Lavender and MarjoramCombined with Basil and Rosemary, it stimulates the brain, providing mental clarity. For shock, it is excellent when combined with Lavender.
Headache: Excellent for migraines and severe headaches due to digestive problems; it stimulates the nervous system and is an antidepressant.
Excellent repellent for cockroaches and mice combined with Lemon Tea and and Eucalyptus globulus.
Contraindications: Avoid contact with eyes. For young children, use highly diluted or you can use Spearmint.
During homeopathic treatment it neutralizes its effects.
